Arguably the most versatile member of the FMM Sugarcraft Press-Ice family, the FMM Sugarcraft Press-Ice Polka 1 impression tool has pins from top to bottom, and end-to-end. This means you can cover the largest possible area with precisely placed indentations in the least possible time.
FMM Sugarcraft Press-Ice Polka 1is designed to be used horizontally for best results. Used in this way, a seamless and continuous pattern can be achieved by placing the first row of pins into the last row if holes as you work your way around the cake.
Held horizontally, FMM Sugarcraft Press-Ice Polka 1 will impress a pattern into the side of a 7.5cm (3in) high cake from top to bottom.
For deeper cakes, it is possible to use Polka tools in a vertical position – with a little more care. As with horizontal use, the bottom edge must always be in contact with the board. This will make absolutely sure that the pattern is both horizontal and vertical. Held vertically, the panels measure approximately 7.5cm (3in) wide x 11.5cm (4½in) high
