FMM Sugarcraft Press-Ice Pattern 3 Drape Tool is designed to be used horizontally for best results. In this way, a seamless and continuous panel pattern can be achieved around your cake by placing the first row of pins into the last row if holes as you work your way around the sides.
Held horizontally, Press-Ice Pattern 3 will impress a drape design 3.5cm deep around the side of a cake, with a clear 3cm margin beneath the pins.
Once the pattern has been impressed, simply pipe over the holes and/or attach appliqued shapes.
The first “Special Edition” members of the FMM Press-Ice family, the Pattern 3 Drape impression tools each have horizontal panels of pins arranged in individual, yet very versatile patterns. All 3 patterns can be used on their own, or as a base for many other designs.
